Van Zutphen Dullaert wanted to nominate for a further period of six years as Children’s Ombudsman, but only if Dullaert would put his signature to a secret resignation letter which guaranteed that he would resign within a year. Reported De Volkskrant on Thursday.
Dullaert was disagreed and did not sign such a letter. “I said, explain the situation to the parliamentary committee and let about it judge whether I have one year may stay longer,” the Children’s Ombudsman Dullaert had with the appointment of an additional year to serve out his presidency of the European Association of Children’s Ombudsmen..
confirm multiple sources told newspaper that talks have been on such a structure. Van Zutphen himself says that “there were discussed several scenarios”.
