Seizure and arrests holiday in money laundering case – AD.nl

Justice this week seized three holiday parks in the Netherlands and one of our neighbors. This took place in connection with a large laundering investigation in Rotterdam. The seizure was accompanied by raids in Belgium, Germany, Spain and Luxembourg. In addition, three men and a woman arrested, reports justice.



The arrests took place Tuesday. In Overijssel Olst was a 42-year-old man arrested in Bergen op Zoom, a 51-year-old man, and in Germany a 72-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman. The latter will be extradited, the elderly man is free again. The suspects arrested in the Netherlands today are brought before the magistrate.

The four resorts that have been attached, but whose name was not disclosed, according to the Public Prosecutor representing a value of more than 4 million. The seizure happened after raids in administrative offices, a bank, homes and a notary’s office. It was also ‘administrative documents’ seized’ that may be useful in tracing the owners of some buildings and locations of interest. ”

Also seized bank accounts, among others in Luxembourg, boxes with gold and jewels and apartments in Spain. The total value of the seized goods is at least about 7 million, says the prosecution in its press release.
