This money should be invested in better connections of intercity trains and buses, the head – and vaarwegennet and the approach of verkeersknelpunten. Also want the vervoerscoalitie that there is money available for better cycling infrastructure and green fuels.
Inadequate
In the manifesto warns the transportcoalitie that the Dutch infrastructure is inadequate, with congestion and delays. On the road take the delay to 2021 with 38 percent, as is the estimate.
the Rail laid in the past ten years, more than 20 percent more mileage. In the cities, the pressure on the transport system noticeably according to the organisations: the use of public transport in the cities increased by 5 percent.
The growing pressure on the infrastructure leads according to the manifest to more accidents, an increase in the number of deaths and a threat to the environment. The organizations want that smarter use is made of new technology to solve this problem.
Call

Tasks combine
Minister Schultz of Infrastructure and the Environment is not directly in favour of a separate minister for mobility. “The good thing now is that the mobility combined with the environment and infrastructure. Whether we are with the bus or car, everything has an impact on the environment. So it’s good that that business is ministry go hand in hand.”
