3rd robber Deurne denies involvement – De Gelderlander

DEURNE (Reuters) – The 27-year-old man who is stuck because he was possibly involved in the raid on jeweler Goldies in Deurne, denies that he has had a role in it. His lawyer Gerard Spong has it said Wednesday. During the raid on March 28, two robbers (20 and 29) were shot.

The prosecution has so far not made public the role of the 27-year-old suspect would have been precise. The man is accused of robbery with violence.

Too little evidence

Lawyer Spong believes that there is absolutely not enough evidence against the man and that the case is hugely ripped out of context. They therefore most likely go in appeal against the extension of the remand by 60 days by the court Wednesday, he announced. More did not want to lose. Counsel Wednesday

The suspect was arrested on July 1 in Stuttgart and a month later extradited to the Netherlands.

Deurnese jeweler wife Marina (52) opened fire the two robbers when her husband in their shop was attacked. The couple was arrested but released a day later because supposedly in self-defense shooting. The woman is still officially accused of manslaughter.
