The position of Chamber President Anouchka van Miltenburg state despite a new affair of its function not at stake. PVV’er Martin Bosma, also a member of the executive committee of the House, says Van Miltenburg still “very good” can remain, writes press ANP. He said after a two-hour consultation on the matter around Linda Voortman, the Green Left politician who was wrongly accused of leaking confidential information.
Voortman has in a letter leaked Monday asked for clarification of the affair last year around the appointment of Guido van Woerkom to National Ombudsman. Justice launched an investigation into Voortman because of leaking names of the other candidates to the media.
The position of Van Miltenburg has not been addressed according to Bosma says ANP. According to Ronald van Raak of the SP the meeting was “very enlightening” and “informative”. His colleague Joel Voordewind (Christian Union) said that “we have spoken well with each other.” “We afternoon talk further,” he said, according to political editor Emilie Outeren.
“The position of the Chamber President has not been discussed.”
