“Municipalities check Basisregistratie not ‘- NU.nl

That’s KRO-NCRV television program Monitor found. Journalist Teun Kitchen enrolled without any problems at the residential address of Minister Ronald Plasterk of Interior in Amsterdam. Municipalities have the legal duty to check whether the data are correct at the Key Persons (BRP).

The Monitor , however, were located several people reported encountered such problems as unknowns in error or illegally were registered at their address. From the BRP data are transferred to other government departments, allowing erroneous data can have major consequences.

Minister Plasterk said in a written response that’s right 97 percent of the data in the BRP. Just would like to defraud a small percentage.
