The bridge is part of a new trunk road, the additional Gouwe junction, which runs parallel to the A12.
Along with the new, as well as provincial road Moordrecht Arch has to relieve the extra Gouwe Crossing the A12. The placement of the movable deck began Friday at 20:30.
After just under four hours the lifting operation was finished. “The installation went smoothly and successfully,” says Marjolein Vellekoop of the province of South Holland.
