TomTom unveiled at IFA seven new products, including navigation systems as well as fitness trackers and sports watches. With the new product which taps TomTom, the Dutch company wants to reach new markets and wider use its navigation technology.
The new TomTom Go is closest to the roots of the company, because it is a ‘normal’ navigation system for cars. Specifically, the wireless integration, so you have to hang the system no longer on your computer to install software and map updates. Also voice assistant Siri and Google Now supported. In addition, the Vio is also a new navigation, but specifically for scooters.
The TomTom Vio has WiFi and supports voice control.
The Touch TomTom claims to have the first fitness tracker that the user’s body composition analyzes from the wrist. In line with this TomTom also introduces the Adventurer, Spark 3 and Runner 3, sports watches with GPS for different purposes.
