About one million national monuments in West Brabant – BN DeStem

Etten-Leur – West Brabant can expect around one million euros for the conservation of national monuments in the region. That has published The National Cultural Heritage Thursday.
 

Every year, divides the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science funds for the conservation of monuments. This year there nationally 54.5 million allocated to owners of listed buildings.

Decline

 All applications built green and archaeological monuments that met the criteria of the scheme could be honored. Only Green Buildings category were more requests than there were budget. 24 requests the National Office had to reject that reason.

Tomb

 The highest contributions go to the west of the province to Martin in Breda (139 650), the tower of St. John’s Basilica in Oosterhout (101 224) and historic garden and park construction in Putte (136 804 euros). The lowest amount in the region goes to Oudenbosch. There they can for the conservation of the tomb of St. A. Huysmans count on just 183 euros.
