The repair work on the track faster than thought, ProRail reported Friday.
Friday and Saturday are working on replacing the catenary. Is then tested whether the trains can run safely on the track.
If all goes according to schedule, the schedule can be started again Sunday morning. “It remains a race against the clock, with little room for any setbacks,” said ProRail.
In total there already replaced more than 180 meters of track, including three hundred sleepers.

Tuesday collided with a passenger train at high speed on a platform that was crossing at that moment. The train with four carriages derailed and partly came in a meadow right.
The driver of the train died, a number of passengers and the driver were injured. The platform driver managed to jump out of the vehicle on time. He is among others accused of manslaughter
