On the highway in Wirdum (Groningen) is a van crashed into a car. The car then drove in a cafe. According to the police there are multiple injuries and there is chaos and a lot of damage to the cafe.
The emergency services are on their way, said a spokesman. One of the occupants of the car was injured and transported by ambulance to the hospital.
At the cafe is a lot of damage, police said. The accident happened at the intersection of the highway with the Eekwerderweg. On a photo on Twitter shows that it is a classic car, but police could not confirm that.
