Update In Wirdum (Groningen) this morning an antique car drove into a house. That happened after the Bugatti was hit by a van that drove up the highway from the bridge over the Damsterdiep. The driver of the van, a man of 28 from Wirdum, but was stopped at the crossing but had seen the oldtimer overlooked.
According to the police was the driver of the vintage car, a 66-year-old man from the Belgian Schilde, unharmed. The passenger, a woman whose age and place of residence are unknown, ran a sore back on. She was brought by ambulance to the hospital in Groningen.
The driver of the van was unscathed, like the inhabitants of the house.
On the property, a former bar is a lot of damage, police said. The Bugatti rammed the glass extension of the house and therefore was heavily damaged in the back.
