This message the CSS on Monday based on its own research among 137 high schools.
Ten of the surveyed schools pupils have their smartphone contrast, at home or in their locker. Of the schools that allow it to use in the classroom, 50 percent applies the rule that allowed only when the teacher or teacher’s consent.
25 percent of the schools does not limit. The smartphones are also frequently used to support the teaching materials. According to the CSS allows virtually any school that such phones in the classroom allows students to find information there with it.
More than half use educational apps and switch example, a test or quiz with on. One third of secondary schools who participated in the survey, teachers communicate even with students via the smartphone.
CSS also asked about the problems experienced secondary schools due to the use of smartphones by students.
Fifteen schools gave encounter with no discomfort, more than half claimed that students can concentrate less and also pay attention worse because they are distracted by the device.
More than 50 percent also cites cyber bullying as a problem. This would in some cases have led to a climate where students are digitally extorted and nude photos are distributed.
Also, the negative impact could affect the dynamics between teacher and pupil, because conflicts are filmed and then appear online or shared with other students.
