WK hide in Dordt goes world – BN De Stem

In Dordrecht Saturday afternoon, hundreds of adults will gather for the World Hide and Seek. Nearly eight hundred people have signed up for the event, which set a world record can be confirmed.

The participants of the event will receive a green shirt and wear a sticker. They get hundreds of seconds to hide from eight volunteers who go looking for them. Anywhere they can hide, but stores are trespassing. There referees walk around to see if people abide by the rules. Who to report first near freely knows, wins and receives a prize.

The idea comes from Dylan Hartog and Timo van Antwerpen. They call it WK hide a runaway joke. Dylan thought the championship with colleagues from restaurant La Cubanita. ,, The idea came after many plans to play hide and seek in every branch of Ikea did not go through, ” he told us sooner. ,, We have told the church about our activity. That was fine, as long as it does not cause a nuisance. Even shopkeepers we informed. ”

Nearly eight hundred people have reported to be present Saturday. That may be a record, so there are people from Guinness Book of Records present to count the people. The previous record was about four hundred men.
