Lower House lies down on departure Children’s Ombudsman Dullaert – RTV Oost

The House of Representatives there lies down the Children’s Ombudsman Marc Dullaert from Deventer to leave. MPs do find that there is no gap should fall between the announced departure of Dullaert on April 1 and the advent of a new Children’s Ombudsman. That may mean Dullaert remains until the end of the year, the Volkskrant reports.

The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Home Affairs said today an hour behind closed doors with National Ombudsman Reinier van Zutphen. It had to give explanation about the upcoming reorganization of his institute, writes the newspaper.

Last week, Van Zutphen announced he Dullaert not wear for reappointment. His term ends on April 1. Van Zutphen said that they want to create their own team so he can lay emphasis on the issues that he considers important.

The Children’s Ombudsman was the last days much support. As political parties spoke out against the room and was a petition to keep Dullaert signed more than 25,000 times.
