Tubbergen (Overijssel) on Friday, two women and a girl was injured when a portion of a float in the audience during the carnival. The three were taken to hospital with unknown injuries by ambulance. This was reported by the police

the accident happened at the turn of the Grotestraat to Mayor Smalstraat. On a video circulating on the Internet shows how the illuminated float suddenly goes very fast through the turn, after an emergency stop follows. The rapid stop begins to falter building and is partly down.
The driver of the carnival float, a 41-year-old man from Vasse, issued a breathalyzer. He had been drinking alcohol. Police are investigating how the accident could happen. Here the carnaval float is also examined technical.
The two women are 54 years old and come from Harbrinkhoek and Tubbergen. The girl is eleven and also from Tubbergen. The procession was resumed after the accident
