Cuts deferred regional broadcasting – Telegraaf.nl

State Sander Dekker (Media) allows the cuts to regional broadcasters. Thirteen stations were initially in 2017 17 million cuts, but because Dekker plans with a slow half-year, which is 8.5 million

The plans would actually go already on 1 January. The state secretary in a letter to the Foundation Regional Broadcasting Consultation and Cooperation which does not continue the plans for the time being.

Dekker wants to modernize the public broadcasting system and to reorganize the national public broadcasting and the regional broadcasters. He must, however, adapt considerably its plan to meet the wishes of the Senate. The Senate Tuesday further talks about the new Media Act
