LONDON (AP) – Two Albanians were killed last year when the British authorities wanted to deport them to the Netherlands. They jumped about an hour after leaving the ferry from Harwich to Hook of Holland. A 24-year-old man was sucked into the propeller and was mortally wounded. A 27-year-old man drowned in the flow.
That turned out Thursday during a hearing, British media reported. The two men drowned on February 26, 2014 at Felixstowe. The ferry Stena Britannica was about 500 meters offshore. They wanted to swim back to shore. According to the people who caused the death of the two investigated, might even have an Olympic swimmer had trouble with the flow at the ship.
The two
men were caught a few hours earlier. They sat as a stowaway in a truck on the ferry from the Hook of Holland. Therefore, they had to return to the Netherlands.
