Dozens of angry taxi drivers currently blocking the taxi rank at Schiphol. They are protesting against the recruiters, in the arrivals customers try to lure toward their taxi stand outside the place.
The official taxi stands are reserved to only two companies that have to pay for a lot. But a few months ago, the judge concluded that the other taxis or free to pick up customers outside the official site. Since then, the drivers recruit their customers into the arrivals hall. Some striking drivers they then there would only pick out the long drives.

According to Het Parool now would demonstrate a hundred to one hundred taxi drivers. Travellers therefore have difficulty getting a taxi.
