SLEEUWIJK – On the A27 motorway at Sleeuwijk direction Utrecht on Friday five injured in a pileup. Five cars collided.
At least one woman was trapped in her car. Firefighters rescued her from the wreck by cutting the roof of the car. An air ambulance landed on the highway.
Three of the five cars were people injured. They are brought by ambulance to the hospital. According to police, they include back and neck injuries.
Hit Band cause accident
A witness saw the accident was caused by a blowout. The woman was standing at the bus stop Toll and saw the accident happen to her nose.
She saw two truck drivers their cars in the middle of the road parking to shield viewers. Off bad luck
The highway was closed and went around half four reopened to traffic. The recommended detour routes Den Bosch and Moerdijkbrug were withdrawn.
Chickens rescued from heat
In the file was a truck full of chickens. Rijkswaterstaat guided the poultry carrier through the lane past the accident.
