The fault has been rectified with the new Botlek bridge over the Oude Maas. That Rijkswaterstaat announced.
The bridge was only open three days ago, but suffered just after midnight though a technical hitch. The bridge was closed and therefore agents were directing traffic. It was not known exactly what is wrong
