NAM rejects claim immaterial damages earthquakes – nrc.nl

The Dutch Petroleum Company (NAM) and the Dutch government put the claim of some 150 Groningen beside him, who say they suffer non-material damage caused by the earthquakes in the area. That made the Groningen law firm De Haan today, reports news agency ANP.

The lawyers had the state and the NAM held liable for the damage, but responded in a letter rejecting the summons. According to lawyers suffer their clients fear, uncertainty and stress caused by the quakes.
