The Ministerial Council agreed Friday to a proposal by Minister Lodewijk Asscher (Social Affairs). Old age pensioners to live somewhere where there is no treaty, have, in principle, entitled to 50 percent of the statutory minimum wage. The government now wants to capture the exception recognized war victims. Single people or entitled to 70 per cent, as in the Netherlands.

Asscher found itself recently forced the transitional arrangements for old age pensioners in by defending Israel occupied territory, where there is no social security treaty. These were eleven persons, of whom seven survived the concentration camps of the Nazis
