This confirms a spokesman for the municipality of Ede opposite NU.nl. It is a leak in a database that is coupled to a contact, in which, inter alia, names and e-mail addresses had to be filled. Thereby attackers had access to that information.
Although the town did not ask for any other information, it happened that example, users have completed their Social Security number. The database data were recorded from January 2015.
A security guard of the municipality of the leak came on July 8 on the track after a routine check. It also revealed that some pages of the town site was redirected to pages about diet pills. Then there is on an external agency and fixed the leak.
