In Amsterdam, the Holocaust will be commemorated with a silent march from the town hall and a meeting in the Wertheimpark.
Prime minister Rutte and deputy prime minister Asscher laid on behalf of the cabinet put together a wreath at the Spiegelmonument ‘Auschwitz Never again’.
said In his speech Rutte that commemorate a necessity “to do justice to all men, women and children who are under barbaric conditions, lost their lives, doomed to be forever unnamed. Let us say, their names make a difference.”
