Dutch climber missing in the Himalayas – NU.nl

Christian Wilson made an expedition to Dhaulagiri in western Nepal, reports NIS Sunday. On May 15, used it for the last satellite phone.

On Wednesday, Wilson was on a plane back to the Netherlands, but this never happened. His family then hit the alarm.

Wilson wanted with an American friend climb Dhaulagiri, a mountain 8,000 meters high. That failed, so he went back to the base camp. From the base camp he left a few days later to a hut, called the Italian Lodge. There he never arrived. In the area between the camp and the cabin is a glacier.
