The 18-year-old Dutch VWO student was exhumed in February for further investigation into his death.
Forensic pathologist Frank van de Goot and physical and forensic anthropologist Tristan Handsome examined the body of the young man in command of his family. They also did experiments with manikins both from a moving vehicle were thrown as of meters altitude.
Lesley was found seriously injured in June 2010 on the road under a bridge in Liege. His arms and legs were tied. The Belgian authorities kept the suicide.
The researchers conclude that fit the injuries Lesley in a fall from the bridge. The way he landed and the turn he had to make it to suggest, however, that he has had an initial velocity when he went over the fence of 85 centimeters. Lesley’s bound hands and feet would for him have made it difficult to give themselves that speed.

Survivor
from the Gutter and Clever see all in all “require sufficient reason to believe that the outlined scenario of suicide by a fall from a great height overhaul (revision).” They have done the research on behalf of the relatives of Lesley.
Lawyer Sebastopol Diekstra, assisting the survivors, see sufficient grounds to prepare a request to reopen the case in cooperation with a Belgian lawyer. “The further investigation has yielded new findings sufficient to warrant a new criminal investigation.”
Cold store
VWO student Lesley suddenly disappeared. He bought a return ticket in Delft, Eindhoven and was seen in Roosendaal when he pinned money. A few days later he was overnight found on the ground under the Kennedy Bridge in Liege.
