Prosecution Demands eight years in prison against defendants scooter drama Nijmegen – NU.nl

The case dragged on for years, is for the court in Den Bosch.

The prosecution alleges the two men also commit manslaughter because there has been close collaboration and conscious. According to Justice Mohamed A. of Nijmegen was the driver of the scooter and Mohamed el G. of Beuningen the passenger.

This is an important part in this case because the court acquitted both men appealed because not could be proved who was the driver. The prosecution was successful in cassation.

The two men were planning to commit a robbery at Hotel Belvoir in Nijmegen when they saw a police car and fled. When the chase by the police drove the men through a red light and drove a then 50-year-old man from Arnhem, who died from his injuries. Both men deny having driven the scooter.
