Away with the health insurers, a broader basic medical insurance and the deductible should be abolished. That are the focus of the National ZorgFonds, for which the SP action today, in The Hague. Together with a number of other organisations, such as 50Plus, trade union FNV, the Party for the Animals and paid KBO, wants the party to have the parliamentary elections on march 15, the widest movement for the fund establishment.
The plan is according to the initiators is already supported by more than 220,000 people, both citizens and health care providers. They find that the helm should be in the health care system. The current system, with health insurers in their eyes, are too bureaucratic and unnecessarily expensive by the competition between health insurance companies. The excess of 385 euros is in addition a penalty to be sick, so people make-averse.
