In some parts of the country is the dry season come to an end with so much rain, that flooding is occur. There are reports about flooded streets.

In East Groningen rained hard for two hours, causing sewers could not handle the water. That was particularly the case in Stadskanaal, Onstwedde and Wedde.

Also some places in Gelderland received many thunderstorms and downpours to endure. According to Omroep Gelderland in some places within an hour of rain fell as much as normal in half a month.
