'Victim liquidation was notorious criminal Murat Garki' – AD.nl

The last night shot dead man in Amsterdam is in the underworld and the police known criminal Murat Garki (25). Reported Het Parool.

The man of Turkish origin died last night on the steps of the Riverside Bar, after a moment before had been under fire. It would go to the Riverside Bar on the corner of Amsterdam Rijnstraat Uiterwaardenstraat.

Police this morning could not confirm the identity of the victim, but according to Het Parool insiders confirm that Garki died.

Amstelveen
The Amsterdam region was a day earlier also rocked by a shooting fatal. Then a 34-year-old woman, Luana Luz Xavier, was shot dead in front of her children in Amstelveen. The murder would be linked to the gang war that has been going on for two years in and around Amsterdam.

The liquidation of Garki, according to Het Parool probably nothing to do with this ‘war’.
