They may be some of Scheveningen. And then we talk about the bonfire on the beach at Duindorp. That’s officially the biggest bonfire in the world.

That is none other than an employee of the Guinness Book of Records confirmed itself. The pallet stack that arose on the beach was a whopping 15 by 15 feet and had a capacity of 4,000 cubic meters. And the old record was a capacity of 1,700 cubic meters in 2007, built by Slovenians. During the turn of the year was the huge stack of pallets on the beach of Duindorp, a sloppy 30,000, on fire.

At Scheveningen each year two bonfires. One on the North Beach, built by people from the village of Scheveningen. And on the South Beach, made by Duindorpers. Every year they compete for the highest, best and most beautiful fire Hague.
