State Wilma Mansfield (Track) thinks 50 to 70 million necessary to have to deal with the noise of the high-speed line in Lansingerland and environment. She goes on measures needed in talks with municipalities along the HSL-South and residents.
June should be clear what needs to be done to address the biggest problems, as the House had requested. Residents of the line complaining for years about the noise that make the fast trains. The sound measures taken during the construction of the HSL, appear to be less effective than the computer models had predicted at the time.
A calculation showed last year that the rail at 633 homes in ten municipalities would cause more noise than was agreed. Additional research based on more current predictions about the speed and the number of trains, however late according to Mansfield to see that it is 122 houses, they reported Tuesday in the House.
According to her, measures are needed to address the noise, for example by so-called rail dampers or absorbing plates between and beside it the spores. In a meeting in the House last September was also asked to look at vibrations that cause the trains. But according to Mansfield which fall within the guidelines, and it is not necessary to take measures against this.
