Publicists Thierry Baudet, Victor Brothers and Arno Wellens are a citizens started for a parliamentary inquiry into the introduction of the euro.

They want to thereby determine whether politicians knew that “the introduction of the euro, not only represented a very substantial loss of sovereignty, but also a particularly large financial and economic risk,” write the three on the website www.peuro .com.

“Still, it amazes us how it was possible that such a drastic decision was accompanied by so little critical debate. What role does the government play in this? How is it that politicians did not make much more concerned about the financial stability of our country? What did the actors exactly about the risks? And what did she not? “

The initiators are supported by, among others journalist Jort Kelder, Professor Paul Cliteur and philosopher Ad Verbrugge.

Who wants to support the citizens’ can leave a signature on the website. To get the issue on the agenda of the House, at least 40,000 signatures are needed
