Amsterdam police: shooting at AMC was not a liquidation – NOS

The shooting last night in Amsterdam was probably the result of a quarrel in a pub earlier in the evening. The police says that it is not a liquidation. The shooter is still not arrested.

Just before midnight at the Academic Medical Centre in Amsterdam-Zuidoost, a man shot and killed. He died on the spot. The victim is a 24-year-old man from Southeast district. He was earlier on in the evening involved in a fight in a pub in the vicinity of the AMC.

The man was known to the police. According to The Parool he has in the past been sentenced for thefts, assaults and an attempted murder. The last time the man to the right had been summoned to appear was in november of last year. He was convicted because he was a man of 25 in his chest had stuck.
