The Alkmaar city council member Mohamed Keskin has joined the political movement Think. Keskin, departed in may at the party. Since then, he is an independent councillor.
the Second Member of parliament Öztürk says that Keskin with his transition, the first Think-council member ever, but formally, that isn’t true. The councillor sits under his own name, in the municipal council. Think did not take part in the elections and can, therefore, also has no seat to claim.
According to Öztürk is Keskin (36) the first, but certainly not the last councillor who joined the new group connect. The coming months will be more names to be announced.
Öztürk is a Member of parliament Kuzu Group Kuzu/Özturk in the Second Room. The two were in the Room for the PvdA, but left that party with her.
The two former PvdA’ers Think up, and want that name to participate in the general election on 15 march. Presenter Sylvana Simons is also part of the group.
