 George Jamaloodin, former Finance Minister in Curacao, has gone on hunger strike because he disagrees with his detention. Jamaloodin shows through his lawyer that he is stuck in appalling conditions.

The lawyer also said that Jamaloodin a suspect in a ‘political process’. Jamaloodin Thursday was arrested last week.



Clients

The former finance minister is suspect in an investigation into the murder of politician Helmin Wiels. There are for killing four men Curaçao fixed. Jamaloodin is the only suspect who stuck in the investigation of the principals.

Wiels was shot dead on May 5, 2013 in Curaçao. Although the police have already arrested several suspects the Prosecution was still looking for the “intellectual perpetrator.”
