Hague may still barefoot in Municipal – De Gelderlander

The Hague Anne van Dalen Sunday was barefoot at the Karel Appel exhibition in the Municipal Museum. Earlier this week, she was denied access. Not inwards may’d barefoot ‘are common to the museum world. “

The 52-year-old Anne, who is an artist, a formal complaint filed in the museum. Friday morning they received a response. ,, I got a call from the museum that indeed there are no rules that forbid to walk through the museum barefoot. Also said risk was not as dramatic. I am welcome. They’re going to have to adjust the rules. I hope that they will still prohibit barefoot ” says Dale.

On Sunday it was finally over. The Hague artist walked ‘without difficulty’ within the museum. ,,It worked! No comments, nothing special, I just walked through, ” said a jubilant Van Dalen. ,, I am very pleased that the Municipal secondarily decided that bare feet are not a problem. ”

The Hague has been running for several years without footwear . ,, It is not a statement, I think it’s just nicer. I always compare it with your hands. Imagine that your winter gloves have and about another layer as thick as shoes. You’re not like the full day? “” It was not her intention to ensure fuss. ,, For me it does not. I just do what I do. ”
