BREDA – More than 3,600 runners worked their Sunday afternoon in sweat during the third edition of the global running event Wings for Life World Run in Breda. The runners finish the rolling line in the form of Max Verstappen had to be in a car for seeing to remain. Peruvian athlete Emerson Trujillo was after 64.4 kilometers overtaken by Verstappen.
At one o’clock began the athletes, runners but also people in wheelchairs, from the Wilhelminasingel beside Chasséveld. The goal was clear: as long as possible for the so-cather car of Max Verstappen. Because if he would catch up, then match was over.
Record 50 kilometers
There was plotted a route of 100 kilometers. The Peruvian Trujillo came with the 64.4 kilometer furthest on this trail. That is a new record in the Netherlands. Worldwide record Sunday, improved to 88.4 kilometers by an Italian.

Because not only has been running in Breda. There were worldwide over 130.00 participants along in 33 different countries. They all started at the same time.
Money raised for research
The idea of Wings for Life is being run there by anyone who can do before anyone who does not can. The money raised by this event goes to research for a cure for spinal cord injury.
