A man who at the Haarlem clubhouse of the Hells Angels, has no idea why the police in the building tonight though. “I was just having a beer with my brothers, when there were suddenly a couple of ninja’s,” he says against the regional broadcaster, NH.
The police attacked last night, the clubhouse of the Hells Angels inside and arrested nine men and a woman, who are involved in the Haarlem chapter of the Hells Angels. They are suspected of participation in a criminal organisation. In other cities, the police raids.
The man says that he belongs to the motorcycle club Alcatraz Wanted supportclub of the Hells Angels. He was present when the police in the Haarlem clubhouse invaded. “At one time I was in shackles being beaten, but not included. Maybe they wanted only to know who I was.”
The man is amazed about the raid. “I don’t understand why this is happening. They have been around for years. Perhaps this happens because there is a new mayor, and who wish to make a statement.”
According to him, many people have a wrong image of the Hells Angels. “We drink a nice beer together and a chat. It is not what people think. There is nothing to worry about.”
