Despite the decline in first-year university in the Netherlands not previously counted as many students this academic year. 253 482 students enrolled in a university. That is an increase of 2.1 percent compared to the year 2013/2014. The growth is mainly due to healthy inflows in previous years. A large portion of those students not yet graduated, perhaps because more students than before opting for multi-master.
