Update Elementary Flax grove in the Brabant Zeeland is ablaze. The fire department is trying with might and the now large fire under control. During the fire asbestos particles released.
The building at the Vlasroot fully on fire and there is a lot of smoke. Local residents are due to close the smoke and asbestos threat encouraged windows and doors and keep away.
In the street are old buildings of primary schools The Flax Gaard and Wizzert. The former school building stands empty since early this year and would
soon be demolished. The school has recently moved to Church Street in the village. Last week there were still building fences placed around the empty buildings. Buildings in the area are not at risk, reports BBC News.
