The municipality of Haaksbergen should never issue a permit for the event with monster trucks on September 28 last year, killing three people dead and 28 wounded. Considers that the Board of Appeal of the municipality.
Today ‘judgment is made after investigation into the incident and means that the municipality can be held liable for the accident. Earlier Haaksbergen suggested yet not the church, but the organizer (Foundation Star Events) and the driver of the monster were responsible.
The commission is now proposing that Mayor Hans Gerritsen license had prepared enough, the interests of the applicant and that of the visitors of the event has not sufficiently weighed against each other and did not act according to the guidelines for authorization.
