In the Amsterdam Bert Elma Street has been a shooting in the night from Saturday to Sunday. It is still unclear whether taking casualties.
A police spokeswoman confirmed that there is shot, but could not give details yet.
The last few months in the capital several deaths by firearm violence in the streets. There were incidents include Amsterdam East and the Bijlmer.
This week came in a car park at the Bart Poesiatstraat in Amsterdam Nieuw-West 46-year-old criminal Breda Ron Nyqvist to a shooting incident. Next to him was found a firearm. Police are investigating whether he committed suicide.
