These are two men of 44 and 65, a 34-year-old woman and a child of 2 years. All four victims are from Stieltjeskanaal.
Passersby saw a car with a trailer driving into the water. One of them jumped into the water, but could do nothing more for the occupants. Meanwhile, the emergency services had arrived. Divers from the fire brigade took four out of the water. It was tried to resuscitate the victims. Unfortunately without success. Traffic Specialists police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding this very serious accident unilaterally.
