Unique collection of police Porsches – Focus on News

Frits van Bruggen, CEO ANWB Thursday, July 7th at the Louwman Museum in the Hague exhibition Rijkspolitie Porsches opened. The exhibition consists of thirteen different models and versions of the Porsche had used the State Police between 1962 and 1996. It is the first time that all models will be exhibited together.

Many will the State Police Porsche recall a known, respected, admired and even feared appearance on the Dutch motorways . The clearly recognizable cars in combination with the white dress, orange pothelm and white gloves of the sergeants of the National Police made a spectacular appearance. By about 20 kilometers to ride faster than the average speed of other traffic, called overtaking surveillance, road users were adjusted where necessary, and warned verbalized only in extreme cases. The police report was no longer a goal but a means.
