The total legal costs amount to 144,000 euros, 31,000 more than previously reported. The additional costs would include legal assistance provided to the department.
Demmink until 1 November 2012, the highest official in the Ministry of Security and Justice. He has for many years been associated with the abuse of minor boys, but has always denied the accusations themselves.
The abuse allegedly took place in the nineties, during missions. Two Turkish men of that time thirteen and fourteen years old, say they have been abused by Demmink and intimidated after their declarations in 2008 and 2010.
