The major fire at a warehouse in Landgraaf is under control, but the damp down can still all night last. Which can cause odors according to the fire department. The warehouse was completely destroyed by the fire.
In the burned shed were several rooms with storage of fruits, vegetables and Chinese herbs. The firefighters prevented the fire spread to adjoining properties

The fire started heavy smoke. People in a nearby residential area had to close windows and doors and turn off ventilation systems. Transport company Veolia had to reroute buses, because some of the roads in the district Waubach by the fire were no longer accessible.
The fire in the shed at the Vogelzankwegweg broke around 21:30 by unknown cause out. The fire then quickly grabbed around. No one was injured.
