Knoops would murder Overzier revised – The Stentor

ZWOLLE – top lawyer Geert-Jan Knoops sends a “comprehensive revision request” to the Supreme Court and wants the murder of Pim Overzier Apeldoorn from December 2001 shall be reviewed.

Henk Haalboom (72) got 20 years in prison before and is now free again. Seven years Knoops collected scientific reports on which any part of the evidence of the past is investigated. From countercheck the heart of Overzier shows that at the time there was a disproportionately high risk of failure; 70 percent of his arteries were clogged. That makes a natural death plausible (in the first section, the cause of death remained unclear.)

Martial Arts Specialist Jan Bloem considers Haalboom physically was not able to overpower Overzier (taller, 25 kilograms heavier) and Professor sports medicine Backx Frank concludes his body that he never could have dragged 85 meters to the middle of an overgrown forest, the site of the grave. In reconstructions could not do that even trained police officers. Professor Ton Derksen (whose probabilities the Lucia de Berk was reopened) cracks the way the prosecutor then issues reasoned together and exculpatory evidence omitted.

In 2011, advised the Committee Evaluation Closed criminal case not to reopen. When it was still a ‘novelty’ required by an expanded scheme are scientific advances and new insights reason enough.
