Wednesday Lumberjack author Riveter deceased – De Stentor

The controversial writer Richard Klinkhamer this week at the age of 78 in his hometown of Amsterdam deceased. Reporting its publisher Just Publishers Thursday.

Riveter quite a stir with the book Wednesday Lumberjack out in 2007, in which he describes the day when he killed his wife. Just Publishers released the book after several other publishers had rejected it.

‘s wife Riveter disappeared in 1991. When she was nine years later found in the garden of Riveter in Groningen Ganzedijk, he knew her to life to have brought. He had her with a crowbar smashed the skull.

Riveter laid the corpse of his wife in a well in the garden and covered it with earth and rubble. In 2000 met with new residents of the house during excavation work on the remains of Godfrinon. Klinkhamer was arrested immediately below.

Books
born in 1937 Riveter was sentenced on appeal for manslaughter to seven years in jail, but was released early in October 2003. In prison he wrote Wednesday Lumberjack. After the publication of the book would not take it all bookstores in the stock. The northern Dutch Drama edited the book in 2012 to a play.

For the murder of his wife had Riveter though some books to his name, including Obey like a dog and Heads or Tails. In 2004 he published a biography about Riveter, written by journalist and philosopher Martijn Meijer.
